We were thrilled to host Chef Nicholas and mixologist Ben for a catered dinner in our home earlier this year and experience their food and cocktail pairings. The evening was an extraordinary culinary experience, starting with olive oil infused mushrooms with fresh thyme, truffle, scallion, trumpet mushroom puree and shaved Parmesan. Moving next to shrimp ceviche over chevre with micro parsley on grilled crostini paired with a gin cocktail with fresh rosemary, lime and grapefruit. We were then spoiled with tenderloin of bison, perfectly cooked medium rare, over charred root vegetables and parsnip puree, onion cracklings, topped with aioli, shaved Parmesan and micro greens. Chef Nicholas prepares all of this in your home with his own pans, serves it on his dishes, drinks are served in their glassware and then he takes it all away at the end of the night leaving you with a clean kitchen and no dishes to wash. This is an amazing concept with extraordinary service, and I highly recommend it for any in home entertaining.
