What a treat I had for Mother’s Day— an in-home catered intimate meal! Besides a delicious 3-course meal with interactive explanation, all the prep and clean-up post work was done. The food was delicious and customized to our needs, including a vegan and 2 toddlers. I can’t say enough about Skajewski Catering . I was able to sit back and enjoy my kids and grandkids.....best gift ever!!!
Chef Nicholas and his team were amazing! The food was excellent and unique. Our guests all loved that each course was paired with a specific drink that complimented the food beautifully! They were SO professional and took the time to carefully explain each course in great detail. We enjoyed having them in our home and they were great with our kids too. We look forward to having them back for another dinner party in the near future and recommend them to anyone thinking about hosting any kind of party!
My husband and I purchased a gourmet dinner for 8, to be prepared and served in our home at a Make-A-Wish fundraiser. Chef Nicholas donated his services for the cause. The experience was so enjoyable from start to finish. He helped us design the menu and made everything so simple for us. On the day of the party he arrived at the door with all of the fresh groceries in hand as well as flowers for the table. We didn’t have to do anything except invite 6 friends and enjoy ourselves. The food was absolutely wonderful and the professional service was above and beyond my expectations.
We hired Nick and Ben to cater a Christmas dinner party. They made the process very easy, listened to my suggestions and made it clear it was important to them that they delivered the experience I was envisioning. Everyone enjoyed watching the preparation of the meal and Nick was eager to answer our cooking questions. Nick and Ben were very personable and actually added a lot of entertainment for our party. Would highly recommend this in home experience.
We had Chef Nicholas prepare an in-home dinner for 6 and we couldn’t be more pleased! We didn’t have a specific food in mind so he suggested two different menus we could choose from. He came with a crew of two and prepared and served the meal. Each course was paired with wine and Chef Nicholas took the time to explain not only the food but the wine pairing, answered any questions we had and was just so nice to work with. It was like having a friend come over and prepare a fabulous meal for you (if you happen to have a friend who is a great chef)! Everyone had a great time enjoying delicious food and wine. We will definitely be using Chef Nicholas again!
We had our wedding in May 2018 and the last thing I wanted to stress or focus on was the food for the guests. Nick did a great job putting together a selection of food based solely on what we wanted for our menu. He even mirrored my grandmas potato salad recipe which was absolutely wonderful! He and Sarah kept the food fresh and refilled everything as needed. Our numbers were less than we had anticipated but we were able to have everyone leave full and satisfied. In the future we learned for ourselves to plan for a bit less so we could be a little more elaborate in our choices but overall that was a planning error with higher numbers in mind. It was a beautiful set up and we really enjoyed knowing our guests had a great experience as well!

Your professionalism, kindness and cleanliness was beyond what we could ever have hoped it could be for our dinner. The menu was perfect as was the beverage pairing and presentation! All in all, you made our dining experience exceptional. We hope to have you back soon!
We were thrilled to host Chef Nicholas and mixologist Ben for a catered dinner in our home earlier this year and experience their food and cocktail pairings. The evening was an extraordinary culinary experience, starting with olive oil infused mushrooms with fresh thyme, truffle, scallion, trumpet mushroom puree and shaved Parmesan. Moving next to shrimp ceviche over chevre with micro parsley on grilled crostini paired with a gin cocktail with fresh rosemary, lime and grapefruit. We were then spoiled with tenderloin of bison, perfectly cooked medium rare, over charred root vegetables and parsnip puree, onion cracklings, topped with aioli, shaved Parmesan and micro greens. Chef Nicholas prepares all of this in your home with his own pans, serves it on his dishes, drinks are served in their glassware and then he takes it all away at the end of the night leaving you with a clean kitchen and no dishes to wash. This is an amazing concept with extraordinary service, and I highly recommend it for any in home entertaining.
Chef Nicholas and his team are top-notch. In addition to providing an exceptional menu for our event, Chef and the team interacted with our guests – adults and children – throughout the evening. They were professional and fun. We look forward to partnering with them, again, in the future.
We have had Chef Nicholas create his masterpieces for two private dinner parties we held at our home. The dinner parties were completely different both times. The first was all small plates (7 of them) that he coordinated complimentary cocktails with; the second was a birthday party for a friend, where he served a 4 course meal, also complimented with cocktails to accent the dishes. He and his partners are absolutely top notch! They do not miss a beat, a detail, nothing. Everything is carefully planned out to make the evening go perfectly and everything is executed flawlessly. They are professional in every aspect, from setting up to creating, through delivery and clean up.
I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Chef Nicholas during the past year. He is currently serving as our Mentor Chef for the Harrisburg High School Culinary Arts/Prostart Program, for which I instruct. Chef Nicholas did not hesitate to jump in and offer his expertise to benefit my students and the community. This includes working one-on-one with students or in a large group and also providing career opportunities for them now and in the future. Having him as a resource has 100% enhanced our Culinary Arts program and greatly increased the interest of our students in the hospitality and tourism career field. It is amazing to work with such a wonderful role model who is willing to give of his time and talents freely!
